Enchanting the King: A Sleeping Beauty rendition
Enchanting the King by E. D. Walker is one of those books where you can only enjoy it if you're into the super sappy romance that just might have you cringing. The summary sounded incredible, but the writing leaves a lot to be desired. I almost died laughing after reading about the wild stallion being temper. it actually brought me back to the first adult novel I ever read when I was 13 except this book is mildly better as it doesn't go into details and the description doesn't lie about what it's going to be about. I really wanted to root for AliƩnor but she's one of those characters that get too coddled by men. If this kind of thing tickles your fancy then, by all means, this is the book for you.
