Blindside by Kandi Steiner

Holy Clay, this book is incredible and it is spice that is for sure. Clay is another fictional man I can add to my list of why I have high expectations of real men. I mean he reads her books so he can learn what she likes like 😋.

The best part is I do not understand football but it is okay if you don't because like her book The Wrong Game (which if you have not read it or any of her books you should fix that error especially if you love books with angst and will grab you by the feels) the football is not the main part of the plot it does not detract from it, which is great because I have read a few where the author seems to think it is not a sports romance unless they place every term known to that sport in it and bog down the story. Kandi Steiner does a perfect blend of enough terminology that you know it is a sports romance without bogging down the storyline.

If anything else you need to read the book for one reason: Clay Johnson. But if you need more how about fake dating, virgin nerd and experienced jock trope, he gives her "lessons" (hence the books), if you have read her books this has more of the spice and angst that you love in fact it might be her spiciest book I have read from her.

If you love The Deal by Elle Kennedy then you will love this book. Now go grab yourself a copy (its free if you have a kindle unlimited) and go make Clay your new book boyfriend (he takes studying very seriously when it comes to a certain someone).
