I received a free copy of this book from the author via another author (I can't remember if was a giveaway they were doing or if it was a preorder book and get certain number of books free from other authors) in exchange for an honest review.
Love Takes the Cake by Krista Ames is a short sweet story about a couple trying to get back together. There are schemes and both think they are playing the other one.
I kind of gave up on it because the copy I had was bad unless the author intentionally has it where you get three pages of text and 15 blank ones. I couldn't do it anymore because I couldn't follow along, but from what I did read it was cute and sweet and somewhat childish.
