The Dinner List by Rebecca Serle

Okay, I am not going to lie I picked up The Dinner List by Rebecca Serle because Audrey Hepburn shows up for Sabrina Nielsen's 30th birthday dinner. I mean if that doesn't intrigue you then I don't know what will entice you to read this book.

"That's the first thing I think first. Not: Audrey Hepburn is at my birthday dinner, but Audrey Hepburn is annoyed." (p1.)

I laughed and I cried when I read this book especially when it got to Sabrina and her ex Tobias. Oh Lord, did I ugly cry when it came to their parts because I wanted them to have a second chance at love until I learned the little secret they were all dancing around and I did not see it coming even though I should have. Frick, I'm tearing up just typing this.

Never mind let's cut the review short before I cry in earnest and cannot see the screen anymore.

Go read this and make sure you have a box of tissues and comfort food at a close range.

4.5 out of 5 stars.
