The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux

This is one of the first classics that I have enjoyed and I want to reread it again because it has given me all of the feels.

I'm still a little confused about the ending, but this book made me feel so much that I don't even care that much.

My only main issue is the Persian. I wished he had an actual name besides that because I feel like it could make him more into a character instead of a caricature. But that was also what they did back then because they did not have the sources that we do today, so the Persian was mostly a bunch of cliches instead of anything of real substance.
