The Love Letter by Rachel Hauck

I got an arc of this book from my local bookstore (you could get arcs from them if you bought an actual book from them because they were not allowed to sell the arcs).

I fell in love with this book and it felt like this is something that happened in history. I love how the whole story is connected by the letters that are written between Esther and Hamilton.

I love how Chloe grew as a character and how she grew more in faith with God. Well no scratch that. I love how the female MCs Esther and Chloe grew more in their faith even though they had hard times while when it got down to hard times the male MCs Hamilton Lightfoot and Jesse end up falling out of their faith.

I normally don't like war novels taken in a historical period, but Lord, I wanted to stay in this book. It is so well done and I will definitely recommend this book to people.

5 out of 5 stars.
